Machine restart during build
I was curious, what will happen when I restart VM in a build script.

Are there any technical blockers for this feature? We would like to install software that requires reboot, we really miss this functionality. Also other teams cannot use appveyor, just because of this limitation. :(

The reboot is not just helpful feature. In most cases, it is a blocking issues. We are blocked to adopt the AppVeyor right now because of it. Please consider adding the support. thx.

I see, guys. There are no technical blockers for supporting restarts, it's just non-trivial (relatively) feature as build agent should maintain state (like env. variables) and resume to the next command it was restarted from. I've added an issue and will try implement it by April 3 update. Hope that helps.

Support of machine restart was deployed few weeks ago.
