Getting pull request status to display manually?

How could we add the PR status from Appveyor without giving write and admin rights to it in GitHub? Is it possible? I'd like to enable the status support but I don't see the PR Status option for it because AppVeyor doesn't have the needed rights to add the options by itself. I have push requests to the repository, but not to revoke and again the permissions.

I've asked for it, but it may take some time, and I'd like to see this being managed ASAP.

Thanks in advance for your help!

GitHub account authorized in AppVeyor should have at least write permissions to the target repository in order to create a new commit status using GitHub API. That API doesn't work with read permission only.

I see. The AppVeyor account is authorized with a different GH account to mine, is it possible to also authorize my user account with write and admin access to make some tests in my own fork? I have admin rights for the AppVeyor account.

Only one GitHub username can be associated with AppVeyor account. You can re-authorize AppVeyor to use your own GitHub user, of course.

What a shame. Sadly revoking the existing account and setting mine isn't an option.

I guess I'll have to wait for getting everything fully set up . Thanks for the help.
