When I create a new project through GitHub on v2-beta, I always encounter the following message, so cannot create the new project. This problem is not restricted to a certain GitHub repository but a new project cannot be created with all my repositories.

Error adding webhook to GitHub repository: Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).

Moreover, on v1, there is a similar message with the above, but I can create a new project on it and can build the project well.

Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).

Is it a public repository? Does it belong to your account or organization?

Yes, it is public repository and it belongs to my account.

As far as I know, we can see repositories, only belonging to my account, to create a new project

I would like tell you about when this problem is occurred. AppVeyor provides the two options to log-in - Login with your developer account and Login with AppVeyor account. To log-in with my AppVeyor account(not with my GitHub account), I needed to specify Id and password in my account setting page. As far as I remember, after I specified my id and password, this issue seems to be occurred.

Interesting, I will take a look.

Could you please re-authorize GitHub in AppVeyor with "public and private repositories" option? This should solve the issue.

Thank you for addressing this issue.
I have resolved this problem on both versions(v2-beta and the stable version) with your solution. I'll close this issue as this can be re-opened if needed.
