I am running a build under Cygwin installing the libpq-dev package libpq-dev, but the binary cannot find this cygpq-5.dll while "C:\cygwin\bin" is well added to PATH. So have you an idea where/what could be the problem?

:/projects/poco/SQL/PostgreSQL/testsuite/bin/Cygwin/i686/testrunner.exe: error while loading shared libraries: cygpq-5.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory failed=SQL/PostgreSQL

Here the job:

My guess is that its not there because you're not installing it. Seems that you're installing header files with libpq-devel but not the '.dll'. Maybe what you need to install is this package?

Yes you are correct... This cygpq-5.dll is installed by the libpq5 package. Usually, on Llinux system, installing the libXXX-devel package installs also the binaries related to.

    Thanks for your help.
