Slack has deprecated the use of tokens, they're called legacy tokens now, and we are encouraged to not use them. The guide I found in https://www.appveyor.com/docs/notifications/#slack talks about getting a token, which is not encouraged and the link provided doesn't point to the page where I could even get the legacy tokens.
I don't want to use webhooks, so, how can I integrate Slack and AppVeyor? I'm coming from Travis-CI where there's an app easily installable through Slack, I couldn't find anything similar for AppVeyor.

If token is not an option for your then webhook is the only way to integrate AppVeyor with Slack. We don't have an application like Travis yet, sorry.
