    Is it a public repository?

And in the Account details page of your AppVeyor account you see that it is connected as show in this image?

    Yes.
AppVeyor was authorized 2 hours ago for read/write access to GitLab repositories as Tardo account. Your account authorizations.

Can you try the following powershell command with your own api key and let me know if it returns successfully.

    Invoke-WebRequest https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects?membership=true"&"order_by=updated_at"&"per_page=100 -Header @{Authentication="Bearer <your secret key>"} -Method Get -UseBasicParsing

    Using.. ```curl -H "Authentication=<SecretKey>" -X GET "https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects?membership=true&order_by=updated_at&per_page=100"``` I get ```[]```

SecretKey = Personal Access Token for API

So there is no trace of a status code?

We need to find the reason why you are getting an empty response to a request for public project listings.

Actually, can you try this command instead.

    curl -H "PRIVATE-TOKEN:<your-secret-key>" -X GET "https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects?membership=true"

I get "HTTP/1.1 502 Bad Gateway" after waiting a while...
Using invalid token i get "{"message":"401 Unauthorized"}" fast...

Are you on a windows machine? If so, using cmd or powershell?

What if you just (when logged in to gitlab) point your browser to "https://gitlab.com/api/v4/projects?membership=true"?

Well, that seems to be a problem some others are facing with gitlab as well.

Perhaps you can test some other api calls (particular projects for example) and post your results there and see if anyone has any recommendations.
