Owen, can you please explain what is the process of allowing other user to access my private repo? (under a user, no organization). Maybe we missed something.

Dotan Simhatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-22T17:50:56Z2018-07-22T17:50:56ZCan't access other user private repo

I'm confused, am I speaking to one person here?

Can you try having the owner of the account to which you've been added as a collaborator sign in and go to https://ci.appveyor.com/account and under
Source control authorizations -> GitHub
and revoke authorization and then re- authorize making sure that
Private and Public repositories
option is checked.

Owen McDonnelltag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T07:08:16Z2018-07-23T07:08:17ZCan't access other user private repo

Sorry for the confusion. Just one :)
I'm trying to access a project which is private, in my colleague account.
We tried to revoke and reauthorize.
He tried to add me as collaborator - it didn't work.
He tried to add me as team member - but even after accepting the invitation on my end, it's still showing for him that i'm "pending".
He tried to add me as admin collaborator - it didn't work.
He tried to set "allow" on all possible permissions in the project - it didn't work.

We really don't know what else to do or try. It seems like there it no real option to use private repos.

Dotan Simhatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T07:16:16Z2018-07-23T07:16:16ZCan't access other user private repo

I think that adding you as a collaborator was a correct step, but after that you were needed to switch account.

Ilya Finkelshteyntag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T07:27:25Z2018-07-23T07:27:29ZCan't access other user private repo

Just tried it again. I tried to switch account - it didn't work. can't see any project.
We also tried to remove me as collaborator - it also didn't work.
We tried to remove the project and create it again - it didn't work.

The repo name is MSJ-video

Thanks!

Dotan Simhatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T11:14:19Z2018-07-23T11:14:19ZCan't access other user private repo

I see that you are Collaborator with Administrator role in the Account
Urigo
. You should be able to see project called
MSJ-video
if you selected
Urigo
in switch account dialog. If not, please send us a screenshot of you being logged to
Urigo
account and not seeing that project.

Ilya Finkelshteyntag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T11:57:23Z2018-07-23T11:57:24ZCan't access other user private repo

Tried to log out now and logged in again, and switch to
urigo
accounts.
Now it seems to work. Not sure what has changed, because previously it didn't work...

Thank you so much!

Dotan Simhatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/457491322018-07-23T12:01:52Z2018-07-23T12:01:52ZCan't access other user private repo

No worries, this is actually confusing part and we now are working on change to allow people to switch accounts without re-login.

Ilya Finkelshteyn
