We have no option to pin images, but if you provide us with a repro in public repository (the simpler the better), we will hold with the major image update until it fixed in VS or at least some workaround found. We usually create an issue on GitHub assigned to this milestone to track it. It would be good of you create a GitHub issue which points to the repro or just provide us repro info and other details here.

Ilya Finkelshteyntag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/461896912018-10-11T00:59:49Z2018-10-11T00:59:49ZPinning images?

Sorry, I don't have time to provide a repro. I have worked around this for now, but pinning image would be really welcome.

havardtag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/461896912018-10-17T18:17:37Z2018-10-17T18:17:37ZPinning images?

This would be possible with our hybrid solution, private build cloud.
Right now it requires some effort to set up. We are working on making it much more straightforward and super-simple to setup, and adding an ability to use our images with it and not be forced to use a new one.

Ilya Finkelshteyn
