.NET Core "Package NuGet projects" option does not produce any build artifacts

I have the "Package NuGet projects" option enabled in the Build section of my project in the AppVeyor config UI (there is no YAML file in my repo) and have a .nuspec file in the project I'm looking to package.

I followed the instructions from the documentation here: https://www.appveyor.com/docs/nuget/#automatic-publishing-of-nuget-...

When the build occurs I see the dotnet pack command, but there are no items in the resulting build artifacts tab.

dotnet pack "C:\projects\dukptcore\DUKPTCore\DUKPTCore.csproj" --configuration Release --output "C:\Users\appveyor\AppData\Local\Temp\1\drkbvov47e" --no-build

Therefore using the Deploy features I can't find a .nupkg file to push to my destination NuGet feed.

Here's the build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rbonestell/dukptcore

Also, here's the config YAML exported from the UI:

    version: '{build}'
    image: Visual Studio 2017
    configuration: Release
    platform: Any CPU
    - cmd: nuget restore
      publish_nuget: true
      verbosity: minimal
    - path: bin\$(configuration)\*.nupkg
      name: NuGet Package
    - provider: NuGet
        secure: -omitted-
      skip_symbols: true
      artifact: /.*\.nupkg/
        branch: master

Regardless of the paths which I'm looking for artifacts, no artifacts are shown as a result of the build: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rbonestell/dukptcore/build/artifacts

I believe I've resolved this by eliminating the .nuspec file and putting the properties in the .csproj file...

However, I've upgraded my project to 2.2 and it appears the build image can't support dotnet core 2.2... a new support ticket perhaps?

It's scheduled for next image update.
