Errors during build/packaging of Azure cloud services
Started getting these errors today when running daily builds via Appveyor (code or azure sdk version unchanged on our end).
"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Packaging, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

I can confirm this is an issue, I'm experiencing the same one as well.

Hi Fredrik,
Azure SDK 2.5.1 was installed on build workers (http://www.appveyor.com/updates/2015/04/04) which is supposed to be an in-place update for 2.5. While troubleshooting this error you can use "previous" images as described in that update post.

Will take a look what's wrong. In the meantime you can switch to previous image as described in update message.

There is a known issue, guys, with updating 2.5 to 2.5.1: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29281710/azure-sdk-2-5-1-fails-t...
We are going to follow suggestions there and fix the installation. Will update in this thread when finished.

For fun I upgraded to 2.5.1 on my local machine and immediately ran into this issue. The workaround (uninstall, reinstall) mentioned in the stackoverflow discussion that you linked to does the trick.

Yeah, thanks for confirming that. We are going to fix that and publish updated images later today.

Azure SDK 2.5.1 has been repaired and build worker images updates. You can get back to the latest image.
