Azure SDK 2.5.1 was installed on build workers (http://www.appveyor.com/updates/2015/04/04)
which is supposed to be an in-place update for 2.5. While
troubleshooting this error you can use "previous" images as
described in that update post.

previous image as described in update message.

We are going to follow suggestions there and fix the
installation. Will update in this thread when finished.

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/364970742015-04-06T17:06:32Z2015-04-06T17:06:32ZErrors during build/packaging of Azure cloud services

For fun I upgraded to 2.5.1 on my local machine and immediately
ran into this issue. The workaround (uninstall, reinstall)
mentioned in the stackoverflow discussion that you linked to does
the trick.

Fredrik Lindströmtag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/364970742015-04-06T17:26:18Z2015-04-06T17:26:18ZErrors during build/packaging of Azure cloud services

Yeah, thanks for confirming that. We are going to fix that and
publish updated images later today.
