Hi! When attempting to push an artifact to GitHub, this message is provided:

No artifacts were published. Make sure you have specified correct artifacts filter.

However, the artifact is collected:

Collecting artifacts...
Found artifact 'bin\MOSA-Installer-1.9.7.70.exe' matching 'bin\MOSA-Installer-*.exe' path

And the appveyor.yml seems correct:

    artifacts:
    - path: bin\MOSA-Installer-*.exe

    deploy:
      - provider: GitHub
        artifact: bin\MOSA-Installer-*.exe

URL of appveyor.yml:

https://github.com/mosa/MOSA-Project/blob/stable/appveyor.yml#L76

URL of failed build:

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/MOSA/mosa-project/builds/26036951/j...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Can you try naming the artifact. i.e.

      artifacts:
        - path: bin\MOSA-Installer-*.exe
        - name: my-artifact

and use that name in artifact: field of deploy section.

    Tried that and it works.

However, the documentation states that the match is against artifacts.path too.

Is a bug in the documentation or application, or is the match filter incorrect?

It works against artifacts path if there is no wildcard.
