I am using the technique here with the nuget reference of Appveyor.TestLogger:

We are using `dotnet test` on both the VS2017 image and ubunt1804. It's been working great, showing both test results as seen here:

Then, the next commit (no changes to build yml or cake), the ubuntu1804 started getting this error for each test.
System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: Response status code does not indicate success: 500 (Internal Server Error).
   at System.Net.Http.HttpResponseMessage.EnsureSuccessStatusCode()
   at Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestPlatform.Extensions.Appveyor.TestLogger.
you can see it on this build, and all since then have had this error (

    Can you try building on previous images (i.e. Previous Ubuntu1804) and let us know if this issue is still present.

    Yep that did the trick. Do you want any more info or the test results files to help debug why the new ubuntu1804 has this problem?

    Confirmed and was able to repro with direct call to build worker API. Please watch this GitHub issue:

    This bug fixed in recent update of Linux images.
    @maldworth, please check your build with image Ubuntu1804
