GitHub open source project moved from user account to open source organisation account

I have an open source project (MIT licensed) on github, as a repository linked to my user github account (bel2125/civetweb).
The project has reached a size and level of activity, where it made sense to create a github organization for it, and transferred the repository to this organization. The organization has the same name as the project (civetweb), it remains fully open source (MIT licensed), and there is no private repository in this organization. The project had appveyor integration at the old location (bel2125/civetweb). At github, moving the repository created a link from bel2125/civetweb to civetweb/civetweb. But appveyor does not recognize this. I tried to add the project at the new location with - but there the civetweb organization is not listed.
I tried to sign up as an organization, but the mail is already attached to my user account.

How can I get appveyor integration moved as well?

Re: "civetweb organization is not listed" - make sure you authorized your AV account with GitHub user that has access to the organization.

Probably the easiest way to go is just to rename your personal AV account to have civetweb in project URL. This can be done on Then you can update repository path on General tab of project settings.

Thank you, it worked this way.

I changed the "Account name" at to "civetweb", and changed the repository path in the project settings from "bel2125/civetweb" to "civetweb/civetweb".

It seems the history of the project (before it has been transferred at github) is now available here:
While the previous location for the build history is now empty/not found:
This is OK, since the github repository has moved also.
