I initially thought this was a setting for API access, as in do not allow an email/password combination. Instead it's a setting to login via the GUI has logged me out and I cannot login back in.

I am on a self hosted version - any suggestions?

You can enable it in database using SQLite CLI. Download SQLite CLI from here: https://sqlite.org/download.html (precompiled binary for Linux). Guide for using CLI: https://sqlite.org/cli.html

Back (copy) AppVeyor database before doing all this please!

On Linux AppVeyor database is stored at /var/opt/appveyor/server/appveyor-server.db. You can enable username/password for specific account (all accounts if you ommit WHERE) with the query:

UPDATE Accounts SET DisabledLoginMethods = NULL WHERE AccountID = '<account-name>'

Let me know if that helped.

Running UPDATE Accounts SET DisabledLoginMethods = NULL; worked, thank you!
