Build is failing because CURL complains a certificate has expired, which actually isn't expired:

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/helhum/typo3-console-qpjaf/builds/40967934

Is there an issue with time being in the future on these build hosts?

    Hi Helmut,

I'm currently able to download that archive using curl command. Here is the build results: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/FeodorFitsner/simple-console/builds...

Could it be that cert was fixed overnight? Give it another try.

Sorry for getting back late. The issue popped up due to the Letsencrypt root cert expiration https://letsencrypt.org/docs/dst-root-ca-x3-expiration-september-2021/

It is now working again. This is either due to you having fixed the root CA store or the PHP people having changed their cert to use a the alternate letsencrypt chain
