Today I made a change to a project which we package up (NuGet) and it now references another project within the same assembly. The build now fails with

Error NU5012: Unable to find 'YourRedactedAssemblyName.dll'. Make sure the project has been built.

The log shows that nuget pack was invoked with -Properties "Configuration=Production;Platform=AnyCPU" -IncludeReferencedProjects

I have not been able to find a solution to this. Google offers up suggestions that "Platform=AnyCPU" will solve this problem but that's already provided as a parameter to the nuget pack command.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Oyvind Vallandtag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/495236242021-12-03T13:14:55Z2021-12-03T13:14:59ZNU5012 error when using automatic packaging

It transpired that the new project had a different build configuration and was output in the Debug folder... so AppVeyor could not find it. Problem solved!

Oyvind Valland
