Did you guys just remove the DNX environment and VS support from your VS 2015 image? It was there a few days ago and now my project won't build because it can't find the DNX environments.

What project/build is that? What error do you get?

Well, the c:\users\appveyor\.dnx\ folder seems to be completely gone and it existed a few day ago (unless I'm going crazy). Although it looks like ASP.NET 5 RC1 is coming out today so maybe you are just updating to that.

    Specifically, I'm getting the error:

C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v14.0\DNX\Microsoft.DNX.targets(126,5): The Dnx Runtime package needs to be installed. See output window for more details

    My project is: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/BrianVallelunga/ethicalskeleton

When was the last successful build?

It's supposed that required runtime should be installed with dnvm install <runtime> command during the build. c:\users\appveyor\.dnx folder contains those installed runtimes. The last update was on October 6. Maybe ASP.NET beta 8 update affected that folder.

Does it make sense for AppVeyor to have some of those runtimes pre-installed? They are changing so fast.

The November 6 update says that beta 8 is installed by default. As far as I can tell, dnvm isn't even installed by default now though, so I'm now bootstrapping it.

I would certainly install v1 by default when it's done and maybe include some instructions for getting DNX on to the machines now. It isn't too hard, but making the instructions explicit would be helpful.

ASP.NET 5 RC was deployed to build workers. Latest DNX runtimes were added too.
