your VS 2015 image? It was there a few days ago and now my project
won't build because it can't find the DNX environments.

Brian Vallelungatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/384938132015-11-18T14:58:57Z2015-11-18T14:58:57ZDNX Removed from VS 2015 image?

What project/build is that? What error do you get?

gone and it existed a few day ago (unless I'm going crazy).
Although it looks like ASP.NET 5 RC1 is coming out today so maybe
you are just updating to that.

Specifically, I'm getting the error:

C:\Program Files
(x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v14.0\DNX\Microsoft.DNX.targets(126,5):
The Dnx Runtime package needs to be installed. See output window
for more details

dnvm install <runtime>
command during the build.

c:\users\appveyor\.dnx
folder contains those installed
runtimes. The last update was on October 6. Maybe
ASP.NET beta 8 update affected that folder.

Does it make sense for AppVeyor to have some of those runtimes
pre-installed? They are changing so fast.

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/384938132015-11-19T14:18:34Z2015-11-19T14:19:00ZDNX Removed from VS 2015 image?

The November 6 update says that beta 8 is installed by default.
As far as I can tell, dnvm isn't even installed by default now
though, so I'm now bootstrapping it.

I would certainly install v1 by default when it's done and maybe
include some instructions for getting DNX on to the machines now.
It isn't too hard, but making the instructions explicit would be
helpful.

Brian Vallelungatag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/384938132015-11-23T17:40:46Z2015-11-23T17:40:46ZDNX Removed from VS 2015 image?

ASP.NET 5 RC was deployed to build workers. Latest DNX runtimes
were added too.

Feodor Fitsner
