Hi Our builds are succeeding ,but when we push back to our bucket to tag a build an error is being thrown.

git : remote:
At line:1 char:1
+ git push bitbucket --tags --quiet

Command executed with exception: remote: We're changing our IP addresses on 15 December 2015 at 00:00 UTC.

It seems to be treating bitbuckets messages as an error.

You can completely suppress output by adding | Out-Null:

git push bitbucket --tags --quiet | Out-Null

or use CMD mode (do not prefix with ps: in appveyor.yml).

Thanks Feodor, we will elect to use the Out-Null option for now. However in local ps this does not show as an error response, simply as a message. Would it be worthwhile looking into? Does appveyor by default always treat a response such as this as an error? It seems like strange behaviour.

Further to the previous post I have now made the change to use Out-Null the error is still present. Out put is as follows....

git push bitbucket --tags --quiet | Out-Null
    git : remote:
    At line:1 char:1
+ git push bitbucket --tags --quiet | Out-Null
    + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    OK, try the following:

git push bitbucket --tags --quiet *>$null
