What does that error mean? Does google "know"
anything about that?

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/387687492015-12-23T22:13:48Z2015-12-23T22:13:48Z`py -3.5-32 hello.py` fails with error code 103

I only see two results, and one of them is for another AppVeyor
build :)

It's not clear to me exactly what they did to fix the problem. I
need to take a closer look at their commits. It may be that they
just moved off 3.5-32.

oconnor663tag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/387687492015-12-24T17:00:07Z2015-12-24T17:00:07Z`py -3.5-32 hello.py` fails with error code 103

Is there an easy way to get my hands on a VM that reproduces the
AppVeyor environment? If so, I'd be happy to play with this and
look for a fix. I haven't been able to repro the problem
locally.

oconnor663tag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/387687492015-12-24T17:01:11Z2015-12-24T17:01:11Z`py -3.5-32 hello.py` fails with error code 103

Sure, you can RDP into build worker: http://www.appveyor.com/docs/how-to/rdp-to-build-worker

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/387687492017-10-19T05:32:55Z2017-10-19T05:40:48Z`py -3.5-32 hello.py` fails with error code 103

The issue is that the
py.exe
launcher on the default AppVeyor images comes from Python 3.4.4. This is inherently broken and bails out when it encounters a version key
3.5-32
in the registry.

I have made a reproducible and simple issue:

https://github.com/dhermes/appveyor-py-launcher
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/dhermes/appveyor-py-launcher

So,
py.exe
should be updated to the version that comes with a newer Python (e.g.
3.6.3
).

While your at it? Is there a tracking issue for updates to the Python versions?

daniel.j.hermes
