UWP Project Won't Build - Can't Find Types, Reference Cycle, and Missing WinMds Errors

Hi,

I am new to AppVeyor and trying to setup one of my GitHub projects to use it. So far all very promising, but one project in my solution won't build on the AppVeyor VM, even though it builds fine on my local dev PC. Pretty sure I've not set something up correctly, but I have no idea what. Sample build at; https://ci.appveyor.com/project/Yortw/rssdp/build/1.0.15

There are a couple of types from a networking namespace (part of the UWP class libraries, so should be there if UWP is supported) which I get errors for saying they can't be found but a type forward has been put in place (seems fine, though I don't see these warnings building locally in VS). Following that is an error stating the type forward has created a 'cycle'.

Finally there is a warning that may be related, "warning : Could not find target platform winmds for the SDK specified by [Windows, 10.0, UAP, 10.0.10240.0, 10.0.10240.0]"

I have the build environment set to "Visual Studio 2015", which seems like the relevant environment?
Also, does that environment include update 1 for VS2015? Not sure I need it for this project, but I do have it installed locally and it may be neccesary for other projects targeting newer Win10 builds.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Troy,

Missing SDK has been installed. Your build should be fine now. Let me know about the results.

Thanks Feodor, it does indeed seem to be working now.
Quick response too, which is great.

    Thanks again.
