WDExpress /Upgrade from VS 2012 hangs on Appveyor

I'm building the ICU [1] library on Appveyor. When building using VS 2012, as one step, I need to upgrade a VS 2010 solution to a VS 2012 solution using WDExpress. I cannot use devenv, since I think it's not included with the Express version of VS 2012.

But for some reason, the WDExpress /Upgrade command just hangs:

No output is given, so I'm a bit stumped on what to do next. Has anyone successfully used WDExpress /Upgrade on Appveyor?

I've found some info now suggesting that WDExpress on Visual Studio 2012 Express does not support the /Upgrade switch. I find it strange though that I get no output, just a hang.

If it really doesn't support this switch, does anyone know of a command from Visual Studio 2012 Express that can be used to upgrade a solution from 2010 format to 2012 format?

I have since cancelled the job i linked above, since I need to try some other stuff. But it was hanging on that last line for the most part of the 48 minutes that I let it run.

Have you tried looking via RDP why it hangs: http://www.appveyor.com/docs/how-to/rdp-to-build-worker

@Feodor: Ah, thanks, didn't know I could RDP to the worker. I'll take a look.

I'm afraid however that WDExpress.exe that ships with Express version does not have an /Upgrade switch anyway, so I'll need to find some other way.
