Hi Appveyor,

I have followed the instructions for building on tags best I could for my project [1]. I checked that the settings are set to false on the project settings:

- skip_tags
- skip_non_tags

I also do not have these settings on my config file [2]. However, I still do not see a build when I create a tag in GitHub: I created a tag today[3] but I did not get a build for it [4]. What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks for your time.

Marco

It seems the problem was I was filtering on branches. Related discussions:

I don't seem to be able to close the ticket - can you please do it at your end? Many thanks for your time.

Yes, this is very common problem. We write an event that branch name is in a white list. But I believe that we need to detect that it is a tagged build and write a better self-explaining event. Filed this.
