Hi there,
We have a github project ( and we have the webhook set up correctly on github, however anytime a push happens to any branch instead of triggering a build on that branch it triggers a build of the master branch. I've tried adding the following to my appveyor.yml on the alpha branch:

Our appveyor project is

    Hi Evan,

I see that all last builds are actually built alpha branch, see picture attached. What makes you think that this is master?

    Hey Ilya,
Thanks for taking a look at this. I actually set the default branch to alpha in order to force appveyor to build that branch however the problem still persists that regardless of which branch is pushed only the default branch gets built.

I see now. Problem is that your project is set as GIt, but it should be set as GitHub. Easiest way to fix it is to re-create it as a GitHub project.
