VS2015 compile errors - can't see what the errors are

I have a cmake project that builds fine on my desktop under VS 2015.

I just tried to get an appveyor build going: the build reports that there are compile errors, but I can't see what those errors are.

    I see that you already have successful builds, please let us know if you still need help. However detailed output in this case depends on your build script, so problem is to figure out how to increase verbosity in it.

    Thanks, Ilya, I realized that my compile output was being sent to my cdash
    page, so I looked there for the problem.

    All fixed now.
