Beta AppVeyor vs environment variables

Msbuild does not seem to be picking up custom environment variables.

    It's been fixed and updated deployed. You may continue the testing.

    Awesome :)

    The variables defined in the .yml file are working.

    However, I have a 3rd variable defined, in the UI, called VARIABLE3.

    This one is still empty.

    Yes, this is because Appveyor uses either appveyor.yml (if found) or UI. Settings are not being added.

    To test setting from UI set "ignore appveyor.yml" flag.

    Ah, i see now.

    I thought the system merges the two together. Which would be helpful, because then we could override specific settings from the UI while the yaml provides sensible defaults.

    Well, the idea to merge sounds good. I think we could get back to it later. Though I'm not sure we could merge all settings easily :)
