We use some 3rd party libraries in our project which are packed using rar. As there seems to be no native support in appveyor to unpack archives we have to download unrar before configuring using "cinst unrar" (and some params).

However lately this is failing randomly with errors like "ERROR: Chocolatey expected a file at 'C:\Users\appveyor\AppData\Local\Temp\1\chocolatey\unrar\5.30\unrarw32.exe' to be of length '328967' but the length was '444552'." or timeouts when downloading.

Is it possible to include unrar in the default config or at least any, similarly powerful extractor?

    Hey Alex,

Why not to use 7-Zip (7z.exe available in PATH)? AFAIK it's able to unpack RAR archives.

Perfect! Thank you very much. Maybe document this somewhere?
