questions:</p>
<p>We have TFS 2013.4 and, as already answered in this question
(<a href="http://help.appveyor.com/discussions/questions/925-is-possible-to-use-tfs-2013-on-pemises">http://help.appveyor.com/discussions/questions/925-is-possible-to-u...</a>)
it is currently not supported.</p>
<p>Since TFS 2013 also supports git repositories i was wondering if
appveyor standalone git support is enough to interact with a TFS
2013 Git repository (instead of classic TFS source control
one).</p>
<p>Another question stems from the fact that we have also a github
organization account, since github is supported i was wondering if
it's allowed to have a github commit which simply triggers a
checkout from TFS and a subsequent build.<br>
A workflow like the following: when one developer commits to TFS it
automatically make a fake commit on a private github repository,
this second commit triggers our build that ignore the github commit
but does a checkout from using tf.exe and start buiding it.</p>
<p>Is this scenario allowed, although probably not supported, by
appveyor?</p>
<p>Thank you,<br>
Angelo</p></div>scotto.atag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/363915372015-03-31T14:19:54Z2015-03-31T14:19:54ZTFS 2013 GIT support and using github to trigger other checkouts<div><p>Hi Angelo,</p>
<p>Sorry for the delay with reply.</p>
<p>Currently, the way AppVeyor uses to grab sources from VSO is
downloading repo path as a zip archive, without using
<code>tf.exe</code>.</p>
<p>You can add new project as generic "Git" repo however
appveyor.yml won't be supported.</p></div>Feodor Fitsner
