testing against both MSVC 2013 and 2015

I'm trying to set up an appveyor.yml which tests our project against two different compilers, and have run into a few things that seem unclear or don't appear to be possible. My pull request for trying this is at https://github.com/libdynd/libdynd/pull/356.

* Having the "os:" be a matrix dimension. I couldn't find any examples illustrating this, but the obvious thing works as expected.
* Detecting which "os:" is being run. I tried using %os% just like with %platform%, but this value is "Windows_NT", and looks like it's the same in both VM images. What's the right way to distinguish here?
* Excluding some particular configurations. To conserve build time, would like to exclude one of the MSVC 2015 builds, so there are just 3 configurations instead of 4. Travis-CI has an "exclude" option in its build matrix configuration, I can't find documentation for similar functionality in appveyor.

Thanks for your help!

    Hi Mark,

You're right about os - there is no such variable right now, though it's a good idea to add it. In the meantime you can test Registry to see if VS 2015 is installed.

Excludes are not supported in matrix yet, so feel free to submit a new issue: https://github.com/appveyor/ci/issues
