You can have any file as dependency that will be triggering
cache invalidation, even "cleanup-cache.txt" say in the root of
your repo:

cache:
- my_cached_folder -> cleanup-cache.txt

Whenever CRC32 of
cleanup-cache.txt
is changed the
cache is invalidated, i.e. not restored in the beginning of the
build.

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/369168922015-05-22T23:44:27Z2016-02-22T02:59:05ZDelete cache

Hi.

Thanks for your answer. With "on demand" I meant "manually".

ulrich.btag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/369168922015-05-22T23:47:37Z2015-05-22T23:47:37ZDelete cache

There is no such command or API yet, but manually updating

cleanup-cache.txt
is basically the same.

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/369168922015-08-06T04:44:37Z2015-08-06T04:44:37ZDelete cache

+1 to allowing manual purge. A hiccup has resulted in some bad
stuff getting cached and I'm not a fan of committing a change to
one of my configuration files just so I can get the cache to
clear.

micahtag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/369168922016-04-19T20:00:59Z2016-04-19T20:00:59ZDelete cache

+1 this would be a useful feature, my caches are getting big and
I don't want to mutate the repo to do this as that will result in
various other build systems triggering a new deploy.

sam.hallidaytag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/369168922016-08-11T18:26:07Z2016-08-11T18:26:16ZDelete cache

Can I get a +1?
