SUBST E drive
Hi,
Some of our compilation and SQL preparation for tests are pre-configured to use the E: drive for some temp data.
We usually have a SUBST E: C:\Projects\Deploy in our build scripts but that command seems to fail in AV.
Is the E: already mapped to some other drive? Can we have access to it?
Thanks,
Corneliu

Hi Corneliu,
Apparently, E: is mapped to DVD-ROM (not sure why we would need it there - seems like it's there historically :)
However, you can update it's drive letter using PowerShell: http://blogs.technet.com/b/heyscriptingguy/archive/2011/03/14/chang...
Then use
subst
withE:
drive. Let me know how that worked.Ilya Finkelshteyn closed this discussion on 25 Aug, 2018 01:56 AM.
