Roles and Permission
Hi,
How do I achieve this:
I have a user that I want to only allow for certain project. and perform certain action.
This is what I do currently
Create a user
Create a role with empty permission
Assign user to this role
Go to project, explicit allow the actions for this role
Is this the correct step?

Hi Ken,
That's correct. Role defines a set of permissions applied to all entities. Then you can override those permissions for particular entity. Entity permission has higher precedence.
Please let me know if you find any quirks with this functionality.

I think this needs to make it's way into the knowledge base section, as I think this is a reasonably common thing that people would want to do.
