I believe some sort of additional protocol should be implemented to support serving symbol packages which is currently not supported by AppVeyor.

I would be very keen for this feature to be added, so that we can debug our own nugets.
We would not be able to deploy to symbolsource.org for our private project.
There are some open source and 3rd party products that will turn a nuget feed into a symbol server automatically. Perhap you could try using one of those and we could push our nuget.symbols to it?

Actually, I discovered that 'MyGet' creates their own tenant on symbolsource.org.
Perhaps AppVeyor can do the same?

Well, I'm not sure how MyGet does collaborate with SymbolSource - I'll contact them to check if we can have the same tenant.
However, I'd be more interested in implementing built-in support for hosting symbols - I just don't know how hard is that. Can you drop me links to those open source projects please?

Best guidance I could find for creating your own from scratch (sort of): http://www.xavierdecoster.com/setting-up-your-own-symbolsource-se... community edition of SymbolSource: http://www.symbolsource.org/Public/Blog/View/2012-03-...
