Is it possible to hide or remove the links to appveyor and build status from github?

GitHub commit status is always set right now, but we'll add an option to enable/disable it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great Thanks. In this special case I created a ci project already during
the beta phase and I wanted to get rid of the links as it was for testing
only. Unfortunately even removing the project from appveyor kept the links
at github which are not available anymore since then.
example:

Hm, I don't think those commit statuses can be deleted: http://developer.github.com/v3/repos/statuses/
