NuGet Account Feed Authentication as Github User

This question is purely about searching/downloading packages from the source, not pushing them -

I have no problem doing basic auth against our account feed using an AppVeyor user account.

However, a GitHub linked user account that has been added to my AppVeyor account cannot use their credentials to authenticate against the feed.

How can I allow GitHub users to access our account feed as a NuGet source?

Thank you.

Are you talking about someone from a different account accessing your account nuget feed with their api key, or have you followed these steps to create an external private nuget feed?

I am talking about a GitHub user in our AppVeyor account who wants to access our AppVeyor account feed.

These GitHub users in our AppVeyor account do not have passwords because they authenticate against GitHub. In other words, if I go to the login page, there is no way to log in as that user via email/password. I have to click log in using GitHub.

I want to know how such a user can access packages from our AppVeyor account’s built in nuget feed.

Oh I see. In that case, such a user could use the rest password option here to assign a password.
