How use appveyor.yml instead UI settings?

   It should be automatically picked up from the root of repository and UI settings are ignored.

   However, appveyor.yml is not supported for "generic" git, mercurial and SVN repos.

   I use git and seems file in root does not work. For BitBucket other project worked.

   If it's "Git" project then it won't work as there is no way to fetch appveyor.yml without cloning the entire repo.
