Is it possible to use Linux distros as Azure custom images? If not, is this a feature that could be added in the future?

We can help you to run on GCE right now as our own Linux builds run there.

We see no potential problems of running Linux builds on Azure, but we need to do a lab before. We would like to try on 18.04 image, is this OK for you?

Also, we are interested, what are our hosted Ubuntu image is missing so you need to run custom one?

    Two things:
    1. We want to set up some tests that depend on the Azure environment such as onboarding Azure solutions to the VMs.
    2. We want to test on multiple distros if possible, such as CentOS, Redhat, etc.

We created separate feature request on GitHub and closing this ticket in favor of it. We did some preliminary investigation and this is doable.
