We see no potential problems of running Linux builds on Azure, but we need to do a lab before. We would like to try on 18.04 image, is this OK for you?

Also, we are interested, what are our hosted Ubuntu image is missing so you need to run custom one?

Ilya Finkelshteyntag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/459113292018-08-17T16:26:09Z2018-08-17T16:26:09ZUsing Azure Linux Custom Images

Two things:
2. We want to test on multiple distros if possible, such as CentOS, Redhat, etc.

mbreakeytag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/459113292018-08-28T15:27:46Z2018-08-28T15:27:46ZUsing Azure Linux Custom Images

We created separate feature request on GitHub and closing this ticket in favor of it. We did some preliminary investigation and this is doable.

Ilya Finkelshteyn
