Windows Server error makes deploys fail every time
Hi there,
I started getting the error A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 10. The Windows SChannel error state is 1203. today (without any intervention to my server). This makes every single Web Deploy fail.
I've looked it up on the Internet but the only suggestions are to disable logging (something that requires a restart). Have you seen this before and do you know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance,
Marcelo.

Hi Marcelo,
Never seen such an error before. Is it when you try to deploy with Deployment Agent? Is that error appearing when you are not deploying? What messages/errors do you see in "AppVeyor" event log (under "Applications and Services Log")?

Hi feodor. I've attached the deployment log. I don't think it helps much.
Just so you know, I've already tried restarting the deployment
services/agents on Windows Server.
Thanks,
Marcelo.

I don't think it's related to AppVeyor. It looks like Web Deploy handler is not installed/running on that machine. Are you able to deploy there from Visual Studio?

It's definitely a problem with our Windows Server, so there's no need to
worry. I was just hoping you'd seen it before, since you deal with all
kinds of issues from many different customers.
We are setting up a new machine because there is no decent official fix
from Microsoft yet.
Thank you for your attention.
