new configuration needed: mingw-w64
Following on from Build setup for a C program, many MinGW users prefer to use mingw-w64 rather than old 32 bit only mingw.
Currently we can use undocumented configurations
mingw, vs_32 and vs_64
configuration:
- mingw
- vs_32
- vs_64
Could you add configuration mingw-w64 similar to
mingw but with MinGW-w64, please?

What would adding that configuration include? Do we have to install something on build workers?

mingw-w64would include MSYS2. It has a package manager that would be broadly useful to people doing CI on Windows.Ilya Finkelshteyn closed this discussion on 25 Aug, 2018 02:07 AM.
