While searching on Google regarding automated change deployment of a DNN web site, I ran across your article about how to use AppVeyor to do just that.

One question though, while a content editor is making changes to staging, or a developer installing modules on staging, production is changing. New users are registering on the site. If I use AppVeyor, am I able to not push user data from staging to production? User data is the only subset of data I can think of that I wouldn't want to push to prod.

Thanks.

    Hi Shawn,

I'm afraid that article is not applicable to AppVeyor anymore. Since that time AV transformed to CI from just deployment tool and SQL packaging is not longer a part of it.
