Are there any updates regarding this?

max.hantketag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-04-25T17:45:45Z2019-04-25T17:45:48ZMacOS roadmap

For my use-case, I ended up having to switch to Azure DevOps, which is extremely awkward with GitHub, but at least has free Windows/Linux/MacOS support, and can at least be bothered responding to customers.

It was extremely new when I posted, so I didn't know about it.

I've no idea why AppVeyor has gotten so bad with dealing with customers, but this should obviously be handled better.

thegoddessinaritag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-05-22T08:59:36Z2019-05-22T08:59:36ZMacOS roadmap

Is there any update on macOS images support?

Jantag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-05-22T18:18:09Z2019-05-22T18:18:09ZMacOS roadmap

Sorry guys for the lack of response here. First of all, we are looking to support macOS in on-premise AppVeyor Server offering.

Regarding hosted environment - it's still unclear what virtualization technology could be used: VMWare, Anka or something else. At the moment we are operating Windows and Linux images in 4 different clouds. Introducing Mac cloud is not a trivial task though we don't see much interest from the customers/community in supporting Mac builds on AppVeyor :-/

Alternatively, would it work for you if you are able to connect your own Mac VM to AppVeyor and run builds there?

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-05-22T18:49:40Z2019-05-22T18:49:40ZMacOS roadmap

Well, it's really disingenuous to say you're rolling it out, then not even tell anyone when you change your mind.

Have you actually asked your customers about MacOS support? How many are switching to Azure DevOps because of MacOS questions getting completely ignored here and on social media?

thegoddessinaritag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-08-13T22:00:23Z2019-08-13T22:00:24ZMacOS roadmap

We are still eagerly waiting for the MacOS images to become available! Any updates? Or are you recommending us to switch to other providers such as TravisCI or Azure DevOps?

max.hantketag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-08-14T15:19:54Z2019-08-14T15:19:54ZMacOS roadmap

We are working on adding macOS to AppVeyor hosted service. It will be available later this year.

In the meantime, we've added support for Macs into our Bring-Your-Own-Cloud (BYOC) offering (former Private Build Clouds), where you can install a host agent on your Mac (or cloud Mac) and connect it to your hosted AppVeyor account. Let us know if you want to try that.

Feodor Fitsnertag:help.appveyor.com,2012-11-13:Comment/469702852019-11-20T22:33:31Z2019-11-20T22:33:31ZMacOS roadmap

macOS builds are now available on AppVeyor: https://www.appveyor.com/blog/2019/11/20/build-macos-projects-with-...

Feodor Fitsner
