<p>I opened your build history and do not see if <strong>the same</strong> commit triggers build in both own branch and <code>development</code> branch. I see builds which are triggered for <code>development</code> branch are <strong>merge</strong> commits. For example <a href="https://github.com/sqlcollaborative/dbatools/commit/304bd46627d39d50220718d36fcaea6c87df81f7">this</a> is original commit and <a href="https://github.com/sqlcollaborative/dbatools/commit/6fa7618de68c993c057949e0742d7e6e502ee917">this</a> is it's <strong>merge</strong> to <code>development</code>.</p>
<p>You can disable builds for <code>development</code> branch with <a href="https://www.appveyor.com/docs/branches/#white--and-blacklisting">blacklisting</a>, thought I believe it is right thing to test merges to primary working branch.</p>
