Where are all the programs?

Hi,

I'm trying to build a package against multiple Python versions but I can't find the Pythons. Looking at the OS image software pages there should be lots of them but can't use them because I don't know where they are.

It would be great in the image softare pages it gave the full paths of where the programs are kept. I've spent rather a lot of time (both mine and the server's) just issueing glob searches trying to track them down.

Am I doing this completely wrong? Are there perhaps some environment variables pointing to them somewhere?
