Virus scanning
What are the options to perform virus scanning for multiple concurrent jobs. I'm looking for various options, including bring your own software.
Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand your question - could you please elaborate?

Hi Feodor,
I'm trying to find out wherever it is possible to run an antivirus on the bit produced with the CI using AppVeyor. It's a requirement for our process to scan the files prior to packaging those and deploying them. I was wondering if it was possible with AppVeyor is some way or not.
Thank you.

Hi Sean,
I think that is possible to Windows Defender command line: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/threat-protection... It should be disabled by default on our images, but you can hop into build VM via RDP and play around with it.

Thank you Feodor,
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this would be a manual operation. What I'd like to see is a way to run the scan on every build. I.e. no manual intervention. Would that be possible?

I mean connect via RDP to figure out the correct commands to start anti-virus service and then to scan specific folder/file. That could be much faster rather then run-fail with starting a new build. Unfortunately, we don't have a ready solution for your problem yet.

feldman.sean, any chance you figured out the right commands to enable Windows Defender?

@Nishant, I did not proceed with that.
