I'm trying to use Sql Packager (SQLPACKAGE.EXE) to install a DacPac on Sql Server in an After Build Script. First off, is SQLPackage installed so I could do this? If not, what's the best way to install pacakges like this. Is there another recommended way to do this?

    Hi Mike,

Yes, SqlPackage.exe utility is available in the following folders:

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\120\DAC\bin
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DAC\bin

Nope. It's part of SQL Server Data Tools which we have for both VS 2012 and 2013 installed. I'll reflect this in the documentation.

Oh, sorry, SSDT was mentioned here: http://www.appveyor.com/docs/installed-software. We'll add more about SqlPackage.exe there.
