Odd version with pre-installed Mono

Hi,

As I continue to work on CI for Mono with Appveyor I spotted something a little strange

I set the path for the installed version of Mono 3.2.3 (or so I thought) and ran mono --version as a sanity check to see it was picked up.

However Mono 3.3.0 is reported. This is a odd as the last official WIndows release is as far as I know 3.2.3.

I'm interested to know how this came about as part of this whole CI process is trying to get to a point where we can build Mono for Windows newer than 3.2.3.

Could you comment on where this came from? I am downloading the current Mono 3.2.3 Windows download in parallel to check if it is actually 3.3.0...

Thanks, Alex

    Well, that's really weird :)

We've got Mono installer from a well-known location and it was 3.2.2!

I just went through reinstalling the latest download of Mono 3.2.3 for WIndows from

    http://www.mono-project.com/download/#download-win

fwiw - It appears they've actually released 3.3.0 as 3.2.3
