I have an ASP.NET Core application working well with an automated build, but when I try to deploy I run into issues due to the site being in use on Azure App Service.

Is there an easy way to stop/start the service on the Azure Side as part of a deployment? Googling resulted in a lot of interesting replies but nothing helpful.

app_offline: true (YAML) / Take ASP.NET application offline during deployment (UI) should help.

We were using a regular FTP deploy, now we are using the WebDeploy and after a bit of trial and error with that setting as well we are good to go! Thanks for the help!
