Please update Miniconda installations - pip update issue
Hi, I work for Anaconda (formerly Continuum), the company that makes Anaconda and Miniconda. We're seeing an issue with using older Miniconda builds that you have installed, wherein updating pip produces a faulty pip installation. We believe this is an issue with old pip packages not recording all of their files correctly, so that some files are not removed during the update. Specifically, the request folder in Lib/site-packages/pip/_vendor should not exist, but does. This causes failures that look like this:
We have tested Miniconda 4.3.21 and the current 4.3.27 - neither exhibit this issue. Please consider updating your miniconda installations for Miniconda2 and Miniconda3.
